Steph and Her Children at the Giants

Steph and Her Children at the Giants

Steph was thrilled to attend a Giants game and said, “This was my first game since my diagnosis, and it was great to get down to the city, see the Giants win and eat expensive junk food I haven’t had since diagnosis. A salted pretzel- whaaaat?!! The kids treated me like a queen and I didn’t even have to drive. With all the stuff going on in the world these days, it’s sometimes hard to remember why I keep trying to stay alive. So thank you!”

Steph – your kids are the best, you are a QUEEN and you inspire us to continue our mission so thank you!

Tegan and Susan are both living with colorectal cancer. Tegan said, “I’m thrilled that I got to enjoy the Monterey Pop with my sister and friends. Thank you!” Alternative Cure would not exist without the support of our local venues and promoters. Thank you Another Planet Entertainment for making all this possible!

Dakota at Kelsea Ballerini

Dakota at Kelsea Ballerini

Dakota is 11 years old and undergoing treatment for a brain tumor for the second time. A few months back we were contacted by April (Dakota’s mom) who wanted to surprise her with tickets to see her favorite artist Kelsea Ballerini perform at The Shoreline. During one of her rounds of chemo treatment, our team presented Dakota with a care package and tickets to see not only Kelsea Ballerini but also Lady Antebellum. She was so thrilled that she would spend such an exciting experience with her two best friends and mom.

When the day of the concert finally approached, Dakota and her friends made signs to show love to their favorite artist. April said, “Kelsea Ballerini was wonderful!!  Dakota and her friends had so much fun and absolutely loved the concert! They stood and danced the whole time!! It was so nice to see Dakota having so much fun and not worrying about medical stuff for one day.  As a mom this meant so much to see her enjoying herself.  I can’t thank you enough!”
